The Mindful Place and Get In Your Kitchen are partnering together to create a holistic Long Island mindfulness retreat experience complete with gourmet food and evidence-based mindfulness meditation practices. Whether you are looking to get away for an entire weekend or just for a day, we invite you to join us in our mindfulness journey, led by James D’Aconti, LCSW, who specializes in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
To get familiar with the way James teaches, check out our free podcast, or read about him on our about us page. Mindfulness retreat activities include mindfulness sessions, yoga, mindful walking, and mindful eating. The retreat will be held over a weekend. Check in will be 6:30 pm on Friday and dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. The retreat will end at 3:00 pm on Sunday. For more information on the retreat, please see the information below. UPDATE: Due to the fact that Tom, our cook is now pending hip surgery and will not be able to cook, we are going to have to postpone the retreat. We are aiming for Spring or Fall of 2020.
